Sattaché was honored to be included in the 5th Annual Legacy of Love Gala celebrating Whitney Houston, presented by the Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation and Primary Wave Music at The Whitley Hotel Atlanta.
Held on August 8, on the eve of what would have been Whitney’s 63rd birthday, the evening brought together music, philanthropy, fashion, and culture in celebration of an extraordinary woman whose influence continues to transcend generations. This year’s theme, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” captured the spirit of Whitney’s music and the joy she brought to so many.
For Sattaché, being included in the gala’s VIP gifting experience was a particularly meaningful opportunity to share our signature Classic Bag with guests while supporting an evening dedicated to Whitney’s enduring legacy.
A Thoughtful Gift for Women
The VIP gifting experience, organized by Distinctive Assets, brought together a beautifully curated collection of brands, products, and artistry. Alongside Sattaché, the collection included AMOS Sweets, Bharara Beauty, Bon AppéSweet, Glymate, Greens First, lifeRegen, Roundie Brownies, Still Standing Spray, and Sunshine Delites, as well as a striking mixed-media artwork by fine artist David Krovblit of Krovblit Artwork.

An Evening Celebrating Whitney
The gala honored Whitney Houston’s extraordinary legacy through music, fashion, and philanthropy. Highlights included the unveiling of the Whitney Houston Barbie Signature Doll from Mattel, inspired by her iconic “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” look, a special tribute to Clive Davis, and a memorable performance by Babyface, Whitney’s longtime collaborator and friend.
The evening also carried forward Whitney’s commitment to giving back. Atlanta GLOW was named the Foundation’s 2026 grant recipient, while scholarships were presented to students studying the arts at HBCUs—continuing her legacy of supporting young people and emerging talent.
